MUSIC AT
BOSBURY 2008 Bosbury Church is at the heart of the village, together with the school, the pub and the Parish Hall. The church building has an excellent acoustic for live music and is a large welcoming space. Our concerts are intended to provide an entertaining selection of music for all tastes, and we hope that people who come to one concert and enjoy it, may be tempted to try another style of music later in the year. It is also important to us to provide events where people can get together, which is why the delicious interval refreshments are a regular feature of the evening. We have a splendid series of concerts to look forward to this year, with a wide variety of music on offer. Performers range from the vast wealth of local talent, including our young musicians, to spectacular singers from St Petersburg, taking in the internationally renowned jazz band New Orleans Heat on the way. Tickets are available on the door for all concerts, and include the now legendary Bosbury nibbles and a glass of wine or juice. All concerts take place in Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury and are in aid of church funds. For further details please contact Esther Kay on 01531 670634.

VITAL SPARK Sunday December 7th (date to be confirmed) A concert by this enthusiastic and very popular West Gallery choir from West Malvern has become the traditional start to the Christmas season in Bosbury. They sing a lively style of church music which would have been heard in Thomas Hardy's day, before the advent of the church organ banished the Gallery musicians. The choir accompany themselves on fiddle, concertina and bassoon. Highly recommended for all the family.
